With three generations of flavor crafting experience, it was an absolute pleasure to sit down with Mario and his daughter Elizabeth, along with their social media manager Beata, to highlight our technology’s impact in transforming their operational landscape.
Starting out with a small dream, a whole lot of passion and a love of homegrown ingredients; Gaetano LoScerbo began crafting and selling gelato out of a tiny cart in a small rural town in Southern Italy in 1929. Three generations later, that very same delicious gelato was brought to Vancouver in the late '70s by Gaetano’s great-grandson Mario.
Now that Amato Gelato is in the data age, they are feeling similar to many legacy businesses, grappling with the complexities of modern operations and marketing. Until one day, a member of DYNE’s sales team reached out to Mario.
